There is a comprehensive suite of statutory provisions for employees and some workers which cover the leave, pay and other entitlements and rights associated with fulfilling family caring responsibilities.
The resources in this area cover the family-friendly rights relating to maternity, adoption, paternity and shared parental leave and pay benefits as well as the linked rights to take unpaid parental leave and time off for dependants and to request flexible working arrangements. It also covers the recently-introduced right for bereaved parents to take time off work.
